Innovative fashion house, Fashion Nova, proudly introduced its latest venture into athletic wear with the unveiling of NOVA Sport. As the Art Director and Lead Designer on this project, my primary objective was to create a distinctive word mark that maintains a visual link to the main brand, leveraging the iconic Fashion Nova word mark. Aim was to establish a visual identity that could rival the likes of giants like Adidas, Lululemon, and NIKE. I crafted a fresh, powerful, and memorable design that seamlessly embodies the essence of the Fashion Nova brand while exuding the dynamic spirit synonymous with athleisure wear. Following the successful completion of the word mark, Fashion Nova expressed a desire for a new icon specifically intended for application on smaller surfaces. The resulting NOVA Sport word mark and monogram now grace various activewear items, including sports bras, leggings, and joggers, contributing to the global prominence of the Fashion Nova brand.
